Create surprising rhythms and harmonies by having colored shapes follow arrows on a two-dimensional grid.

New Path is a unique tool that offers a playful approach to music creation. Assign instruments to square and triangle shapes and watch them traverse the grid following arrow directions. By manipulating arrow rotations and exploring an array of distinct arrow types, users can craft unconventional musical compositions.

The shapes in New Path exhibit autonomy as they navigate through crossroads and teleports, presenting unforeseen results that spark creativity. Users can maintain control by fine-tuning each crossroad/teleport bias.

Each arrow features adjustable parameters like pitch, note duration, and volume, influencing how the shapes interpret these values. For example, shapes can adjust pitch octaves or apply other modifications based on the arrows they encounter.

Enhance your creations with delay and reverb effects, leverage advanced preset and generator tools to manipulate the grid, employ rules to govern shape interactions, and explore additional functionalities offered by New Path.

New Path seamlessly integrates with other hardware and software, enabling users to control MIDI-compatible devices and synchronize with Ableton Link-enabled equipment for collaborative performances. Moreover, Audiobus integration facilitates seamless audio and MIDI transmission between apps on your device (requires Audiobus app).
